Review of FOCUS+ Natural Memory Booster from UltraNura

 My Amazon Review
4/5 Stars

Do you ever have trouble focusing? I do. Morning: get up, baby is crying, oops I forgot to go to the bathroom, toddler wants out of bed, time to eat breakfast, dang it I forgot to change her diaper, ugh I have to get the baby's diaper, toddler still wants to eat. Noontime: I need to call the internet company again, the internet is on the blitz again, oh no I have to get the baby, oh and I promised to send that recipe to my sister in law, the toddler wants something, the baby is crying again, must eat lunch. Afternoon: ugh, I forgot to defrost the meat for dinner, looks like leftovers again, my mom calls, the baby is crying again. Dang, it's almost 6pm, hubby will be home soon, ugh, I look a mess and the house is no better, I'm tired and frazzled. Right, gotta get those leftovers going! Here's hubby and he asked if I ever called the internet company.... ah, dang... Okay, I need a little focusing help, but that was a couple of months ago from this review even though I just got a bottle for a review. While they are not miracle pills, they do help and I am able to remember things better (yes, I called the internet company!). My husband likes to take them, too because he says they help him focus at his desk job. He takes one with lunch so he does not get “food-coma”. During the last couple of months his job performance improved. We are overall happy with it, it's not PERFECT, but it does help!

Review of DHEA Supplement by Zhou Nutrition

 My Amazon Review
4/5 Stars

If I had but one wish it would be to be able to take this while pregnant! But, unfortunately, a woman can not. I took this while going through my monthly cycle, and it helped keep up my mood, even my husband noticed the difference. However, I am unsure if I should take this on a regular basis since the Mayo Clinic lists a many, many, unique side effects of taking this, including women growing facial hair, a deep voice, and irregular periods. For men it includes an increase in aggression. Other side effects include acne, headache, nausea, sleep problems, etc. But, whenever I read regular people's reviews, I do not see anything like this. So, maybe the Mayo Clinic lists side effects of people who take ten tablets a day or something. For now, I plan to just take it during my cycle and on days I feel blue for unknown reasons because it does give an extra boost (for me anyway).

Review of Rear View Baby Mirror by Baby & Mom

My Amazon Review
5/5 Stars

I found something I like! I did have another one, but it was smaller and did not move. I would have to adjust my review mirror in order to look at it, but who wants to do that on the road? I ditched that mirror a long time ago. I love how big this one is, I was not expecting it to be that way. I also like that the mirror is not flat, it is curved so it takes in more viewing and makes it easier for me to see my little one. When the baby is old enough and I no longer feel as though I need to watch him every second, I will tilt it so that he will be able to see himself. He already loves seeing the “other baby” in the mirror, but for now I will use it to keep an eye on him! I read another review that they were disappointed that it does not have music. Well, if you can more distractions, more power to you. After a while those noise toys and constant electric music will drive me up a wall, so I would not have gotten one of those in the first place. I will take a nice quiet mirror to go along with the other quiet toys that are in the car for the baby and my toddler.

Review of the Gideon™ 5 Inch Flameless LED Candle

My Amazon Review
5/5 Stars

Wow, this is a nice flameless candle! The flicker is so cool! I only own one other flameless candle, and while I love the way it looks (extreme drip-style) it just has this tiny light bulb and you can tell even from a distance that is is fake. The Gideon Flameless LED Candle, on the other hand, you would have to take a second look to realize it is fake, and that is when you are standing next to it, too! I also love that it comes with a remote, which my old one does not. There are settings for 2hr, 4hr, 6hr, and 8hr. Personally, I don't think I'd ever use the 8 hour setting unless I plan to stay up all night or keep the house dark during the day. Other settings include “candle” and “light”. There's really not too much of a difference between the two except the “candle” mode flickers a bit more. The dim and bright buttons are nice, it does not get too bright on the highest setting, but I would have liked the dimmest to be slightly more dim. The “drip-style” of the candle is on the skimpy side, you can only tell there are some slight “drippings” with a certain angle of light. Overall, I really like the candle and LOVE the flicker motion, I also like the smell of the candle as well, it's not one of those over-powering-headache-inducing smells! I plan to use this candle as a centerpiece for our Valentine's Day dinner.

Review of PowerTea Medley Gift Box Stash Tea Variety 45 Tea Bags

 My Amazon Review
4/5 Stars

My husband and I are pretty much happy with this sampler box. It has a interesting variety, I did not even know that Stash Teas had some of these flavors, and that is pretty neat considering I know there are so many. As I am writing this I am sipping on one of the teas coming from this box, it is called Christmas in Paris, and I like it, even though it is past Christmas. There are actually quite a few Christmas teas, if you are in to that sort of thing. I do not mind it so much since I prefer spice teas anyway. The teas come in a handy little box with some sticks of honey that give the teas a little more of a boost. It is fine that it does not come with a whole lot of honey sticks since we do not use them every time we have tea. The one thing I do not care for is that the individual tea packages look like they had been manhandled by several different people, they are all crumpled and such, what is up with that? But, it is still a decent mix of flavors to try out.

Review of Clarks Women's Cosign Slip-On

 My Amazon Review
3/5 Stars

I got a size 11 although my feet are size 11.5, they stretched a little bit, but still were a little small. They look great and were wonderful when I'd walk around a lot, like at Disneyland, the zoo, or just at the mall. The only thing is that they made my feet SMELL REALLY BAD! I tried all sorts of ways to combat the smell, but eventually I had to throw away the insoles. Bad move. The insoles are specially designed just for this type of shoe (they have a bit of a heel), so when I bought some different-brand insoles, it was too low and my heel was rubbing against the back of the shoe and scrapping my skin creating sores. So, I glued together 3 different types of insoles, it still does not do the job properly, but it is better than nothing since I still love wearing them anyway. I wonder if anyone else ran into this problem? I suppose I could buy a brand new pair... but, I do not know if it is worth it...

Review of the Staples® Mailmate M7 12-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder

My Amazon Review
4/5 Stars
We've had this for almost 3 years now and it's worked overall well. There were a few times it refused to work for some reason, but it always kicks back. I love the pull-out tray, very handy and easy to use. We use it for more small personal items, obviously this isn't met for a large office. But, to shred some bills and some sensitive material, it's all we need! Another good point is that it doesn't topple over. We have had another one, some cheap thing, that was tall, and terribly top heavy. We had it under the desk, so when we would accidentally kick it, it would crash over, and sometimes on our foot... ouch!! To dump the paper, you had to take off the top, and dump the shredded paper into a bag. That's why I like like this newer one we got, I love the easy pull out try. I was ever so glad to get rid of the cheap paper shredder from hell and replace it with this one, despite some malfunctions.
